New Beginnings

The theme this week at Illustration Friday is "Renewal."  It seemed a bit like our theme here, "New Beginnings."  On my blog, I did a quick digital work up of the original concept for Illustration Friday, but I wasn't very happy with it.  So, for The Green Palette, I took another whack at it and came up with something much better, I think.  This is a scanned drawing that I colored and manipulated in Photoshop.
