This is a small one painted en plein air this past winter.The moss flourishes during the cool wet months here on
southern Vancouver Island and helps to retain moisture
in the rocky terrain for the spring grasses and wildflowers.
By summer those wonderful shades of green will
turn to golds and yellows as the hot sun does its work.
Oil on wood panel 6 x 8.
