Unlike many people, we always welcome wildlife into our yard. Gardeners sometimes become angry when cottontails munch on their prized tulips and black-eyed susans, but the rabbits would actually prefer a more natural menu of clover, dandelion, and wild grasses. These "weeds" are often eradicated in favor of more manicured landscapes.
After their mother was killed by a car, I raised these three juvenile bunnies until they were ready for release.
