Downy Trio by Janette Slack

Downy Trio
by Janette Slack
Unlike many people, we always welcome wildlife into our yard. Gardeners sometimes become angry when cottontails munch on their prized tulips and black-eyed susans, but the rabbits would actually prefer a more natural menu of clover, dandelion, and wild grasses. These "weeds" are often eradicated in favor of more manicured landscapes.
After their mother was killed by a car, I raised these three juvenile bunnies until they were ready for release.
