'Trial Island from Anderson Hill'

Those of us who spend anytime near the south end

of Vancouver Island's shoreline are always gazing at

the mountains of Washington's Olympic Peninsula.
They are the stunning backdrop to the Salish Sea's

Juan de Fuca Strait.

This was painted from the top of Anderson Hill

one early spring afternoon this year.
