'South Island Meadow'

Here on the southern tip of Vancouver Island
it is the time of the spring Camas bloom.
They are spectacular right now though they are
already past the prime.
I have been out painting them quite a bit lately.
This painting was worked up from a plein air piece
done last spring.

Hi Jeffrey! I like your painting, the brushstrokes and your mix of colours. Very harmonious! Congrat!

This has such a nice harmony to it. Love the movement of the purples and the movement in the trees. Feels as though the wind is blowing.
