This was painted last November just as the last
of the colour was about to be blown free 
by the fall winds.
One of the many wonderful things about 
painting plein air is how immediately you
find yourself standing in the spot you painted, 
the moment you look at your painting.

Thanks Helen...we have had the exact opposite of the East and North of the country with spring in full force here at least 4 - 6 weeks early!
