I was several hours from home one weekend recently when I looked out the window from where I was eating dinner and saw these trash containers. Thoughts crossed my mind about how this restaurant processed the waste. Then, on our way home, I saw a train full of garbage containers which must have been a mile long and wondered where they were headed to and what was to become of what was inside. Was it the end of the line at a dumping site for the garbage inside them? Was it just the beginning of a spiral called garbage that is spinning out of control?

An interesting and thought provoking painting and commentary, Linda. It made me think about where all our personal trash goes. I am happy to say, most is recycled, composted, and a small amount is burned. (we live in the country). Thanks for stopping by my blog and your kind comments on one of my paintings.
We also recycle here and I compost what I can, tossing away what can't be. Thank you for commenting Jean, I appreciate your thoughts.
