About this painting: I always want to rescue old barns that have been left to the elements. Abandon memories of days gone by. Barn paintings are considered trite by many artist but for me they are a way of keeping the past alive.

I know I can not restore all of them just like I can not save every stray kitten I see but some days I just can not turn a blind eye to the past. But of course if I had a barn I could save more kittens and it would make a great studio. Think of the size of the work you could create and no more storage problems.
