Red Roof Inn

Red Roof Inn
Out in the country in the middle of winter is a little
cabin which has seen it's better days. Still it is
a refuge for the lonely straggler. Much needed comfort from the storm.

Winter Oak

I thought I would "Look Back" to December when we
got a pretty good dump of snow. The beauty of a fresh
snowfall, after the clouds have passed and the sun
lights up the transformed landscape, is truly spectacular.
Though most of us are not sad to see it melt away
the excitement of a snow "event" still brings out
the child in me and the delight of falling snow.

Oil on board 6 x 6.
Comments always appreciated.

Antarctic Magic

Last January we had an amazing adventure to Antarctica. This painting of some of the fantastic iceburgs that we saw is my Christmas card for this year.

Have a happy and healthy holiday season.

"The fair breeze blew, the white foam flew, the furrow followed free, we were the first that ever burst into that silent sea."

Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Rime of the Ancient Mariner
